bought brand new suite of samsung appliances for our new house in 2014. i had to change out the dishwasher asap because my dishes didnt stand up properly. refrigerator has been worked on nueroys times. washer and dryer bith have had multiple service calls. dryer finally bit the dust. it is being trashed. the drum us made of the thinest material you can imagine. my stove control panel doesn't work properly. im debating fixing that or getting a new one from another manufacturer. i will never buy another samsung brand of anything!! dont waste your money!!

this washer lasted 13 months before its first repair, for family of 4. of course warantee was out on it. and being my first new washing machine id ever bought i had no idea id need the extended warrantee that i never buy on anything else. the spider arm broke, the suspension went bad, the balance computers bracket broke off in the back and the water pump went out. it literally doesnt spin dry anything ever, empty is too much laundry.

these units are garbage. dryer was refunded after 6 months with gas leaks and couldn't fix (after 6 tech calls), now a 4 years and the bearings are shot and it's loud! not worth the effort to fix. you got my $ this time samsung appliances, but never again!

well what can i say, noise during spin cycle that you can hear into the living room. started all of sudden, looks like its gonna cost about half of getting a new one. it isn't used that much about 3 times a week family of 4. i thought like most things samsung it would last me 10yrs plus, so disappointed.

this is the second samsung front load washer that hasn't lasted. the first one didn't make it 6 years. we replaced it with this one because repairing was more than a new one. this one made it just past 4 years before the problems began. it would intermittently either squirt some water and then do nothing else. sometimes it would work. sometimes if i unplugged and plugged it back in it would finally work. this time i got a 5 year warranty with the retailer i bought it from and that has been a nightmare, too. so far, they've been out twice, replaced 3 parts and now it isn't spinning at all.

i really loved the design of this washer but unfortunately it only lasted 3.5 yrs. as much as i love samsung i will not be replacing this washer with another samsung. matter of fact will not purchase samsung appliances in the future.

washer is only a few years old. it has begun to fail when going through the normal wash cycle. it won't transition to rinse or spin appropriately. have spent an inordinate amount of time on the phone with samsung to coordinate a repair visit, but the people they contract with won't respond to phone calls or show up when they are supposed to. no one at the samsung help center has offered a solution. i will never buy from this company again since they appear unable to stand behind the supposed quality of their product.

i bought two of these washer-dryer pairs. one for my house, kept inside, and one for a rental house, kept on a covered/screened patio. both continue to work well. i have not had any problems with either pair. satisfied buyer.

i purchased this washing machine on september 5th, 2017. up until january 31st, 2021, the washing machine performed well. on february 1st, 2021 the washing machine spinning and draining mechanism failed. the washing machine was only ever used by a single couple.
i was hoping that a washing machine would last for more than 3 years and 5 months. the quality is highly disappointing.

i purchased my samsung front load washer in november 2016. the model is wf42h5200a. it's now december 2020 and the bearings need to be replaced on the washer. the repair people told me it's a 5 1/2 hour job running approximately $600. i paid $665 for this machine. the appliance repair recommended i replace the machine.
i did contact samsung and there are many obstacles to getting them to even consider discussing my issue. i found online several other reviews for the same issue. it sounds like this is a design flaw.
i do not recommend this machine. like so many others my last washer lasted 30 years. i am very disappointed both in the qualitythe washer and the quality of care provided by samsung.

after 4 years of use, the seal in the back broke and oil was leaking and staining my clothes.
i had a repairman come and they said it was too expensive to repair ($700). had issues with both my washer/dryer in 4 years. will not buy samsung appliances ever again.

We bought this Samsung washer in 2015. By the end of 2018 it started leaking water around the door seal. By the start of 2019 it started getting louder and louder during its spin cycle; such that we could hear it across the house even though it was in the garage. We had the technician out today who said the bearing is about to give out and gave us an estimate of $550 to repair. What a waste! We'll be buying something new and not Samsung. Our last washing machine lasted over 12 years and is what we expect from a good appliance. 3 Years is despicable.

We bought this Samsung from ABT to replace a recalled Samsung we had less than a year. The unit we have now is actually a second machine after the first one was banging around from the start. 3 Tech visits trying different things before they labeled it a dude. The replacement is only slightly better. The washer goes threw a cycle banging around...stops and adjusts itself and eventually it gets threw its cycles. I should have called the tech people again but we were done with them. The other lovely part of this washer is you HAVE to keep the door open at all times or the insides will smell. I have never in 40 years had washer problems that were brand new washers until I bought these 2 Samsung models. How do manufacturers look at all the washers made in the last 50 years and produce worse ones? I feel so STUCK and ripped off.

We bought this washer and matching dryer slightly over 2 years ago. We were very excited because previous machines were very old and assumed this was an upgrade. First year all seemed well, clothed were getting cleaned but it did seem a little noisy during spin cycle but our machine is in the basement so wasn't too bad. Over the last year noise and knocking became so bad you could hear it throughout the entire house and finally spin cycle did not work. Clothes remained soaking wet. I started researching machine and looked like flange shaft ( spider arm) was a faulty component in this machine. We are having work done on the machine now and flange shaft not great but not the main problem- the bearings in the drum are worn. Flange shaft $150-$180 and new drum is over $200 and that is just parts!!! So disappointed. A wash machine should definitely last longer than 2 years. Samsung just lost my business

I bought this machine in 2016. Suddenly, in July the machine didn't turn on, and a technician could find any problem, just appeared to be fine. and is not receiving power. A technician told that the control board is damaged and is not receiving or sending power. Imagine, paying 99 dollar

. First time buying Samsung. Washer does not clean thoroughly. The dryer is too high when stacked to see settings on low- settings dial is tilted Dewrinkle cycle soaks clothes and then takes 20+minutes to end and clothes are damp but still wrinkled. Both have annoyinng songs when ended. Best advice is do not buy.

In comparison to my last washer, my Samsung washer is superior. I like the allergen washing cycle. My clothes and bedding come out very fresh and clean. This is an excellent product and I highly recommend it.

Purchased washing machine about a year ago under a Black Friday deal. Got a great price on the washer and matching dryer. So far, the washing machine has proved to be an excellent value for the price paid, with a lot of useful features. It appears to be energy efficient, and does a great job cleaning our clothes. We compared the Samsung to other similar washers in the same pricepoint with similar features, and found the Samsung to be best overall value.

I bought this 2 years ago and it has worked flawlessly. It did stop working once but I just needed to empty the filter, which took less than 5 minutes. It also let's you know when you should run a clean cycle and it plays music when it's done, you can turn off the music if you want, but I like it.

After having the machine for 2 years, 6 months, one of the sensors would come on, it started there was a leak, but it wasn't. Had someone to come repair it, they couldn't, ended up buying a Maytag, needless to say, the Samsung washer is in the garage. One good thing I can say about it, when it worked, it worked well, next time I'll purchase the extended warranty.
